The cerebral electronics dive deep into the deep sonic ocean

Staying at the forefront of the British electronic music scene since her major debut in 2012, B.Traits will make her first visit to Japan. With PUMA and SKY joining forces to provide a special room, she will be creating a special night alongside a splendid array of musical talents.
Known for a UK chart hit with Fever, a breakbeat-informed lean house track, B.Traits has expanded the breadth of her musical knowledge during her 6-year tenure at BBC Radio. This year, she launched Paciphonic, a meditative project that traverses ambient and minimalism. Her DJ sets seamlessly blend a brooding variety of styles from techno, electro, house and breakbeat, demonstrating her musical depth and knack for offering thrilling experiences. Stepping up for the occasion after his Asian tour is DJ Sodeyama. The Tokyoite artist will be going beyond techno, which he’s often associated with, and weaving a diverse range of influences into a consistent groove that adds more heat to the night. Punkadelix, recently acclaimed for her productions under her Mayudepth moniker, will be joining while Tokyo-based South Korean producer machìna is set to combine vocals with hardware over her renowned live performance.
The Contact floor will play host to Hiroshi Kawanabe, one-third of Tokyo No.1 Soul Set who has soundtracked TV shows and movies by the likes of Hitoshi Ohne and Naoki Matayoshi. With PUMA and SLY at the helm, the Foyer floor will welcome Reiji Okamoto from Okamoto’s, who are marking their 10th year in operation, and Miru Shinoda from yahyel, an acclaimed band that has garnered support from their peers and older music heads alike. It all adds up to a must-see night that boasts a constellation of distinctive talents.
