昨年発表された「Blkswn」が話題の天才ラッパーSminoが登場
セントルイス出身ながら現在はChance The Rapperらシカゴ勢とリンクし、プロデューサーのMonte Bookerと、アーティストJay2、Bari、そしてRavyn Lenaeと共に、”Zero Fatigue”と呼ばれる音楽家集団の一員としても活躍するSmino。昨年発表した1st アルバム『Blkswn』はプロデューサーにSoulectionのMonte BookerとSangoも参加し、Ravyn Lenae、Akenya、Jean Deaux、そしてNonameなどもクレジットされた。この作品は、自身のネオソウルに影響された体験が大きく凝縮された2017年のベスト・アルバムとの声もあがる程のものとなった。今回は同アルバムのプロデューサー、SoulectionのMonte Bookerも率いての貴重な来日公演。他のラッパーと一線を画すビート選びとアクロバティックなフロウを体現せずにはいられない。

Hailing from St. Louis; a member of the collective “Zero Fatigue” along with Jay2, Bari and Ravyn Lenae, Smino comes to Contact with producer Monte Booker from the label “Soulection”. Smino, one of the most talked about recent rappers, have collaborated with Chicago’s Chance The Rapper, Sango, Ravyn Lenae, Akenya, Jean Deaux and Noname. His critically acclaimed debut album was said to be the best album of 2017. His unique flow and choice of beats is none like others.
