The acclaimed minimalist brings euphoria over a brooding groove

Launched to connect emerging cultural dots between Japan and Israel, Sub Culture will return to Contact with Maayan Nidam aka Miss Fitz. Whether it’s Perlon, which has laid out its distinctive bass-heavy minimalist groove that explores the periphery of the existing house music framework, or her own Hellium imprint, the Israeli producer creates an array of productions that emanate a languid, brooding yet elegant mood. As she takes over the decks at the Studio X floor over the course of four hours, her less-is-more approach will maximise the individual sonic elements of the tracks she selects to get you lost in a euphoric moment where time shifts in your altered state of mind.
She’ll be joined by Taro, a long-time stalwart of Fumiya Tanaka that’s famed for his adventurous sets going beyond the Techno confinement to weave a common groove that runs through seemingly disparate styles. The Contact floor will play host to Sapphire Slows, whose renowned trippy selections will be drawing you into hypnotic psychedelia.
