Disco/Balearic summit guided by pioneers

YAMARCHY, resident DJ and in charge of bookings of the venue 翠月-MITSUKI- located on Dogenzaka since it opened, hosts his first party at Contact.  Just 300m from Contact, MITSUKI opened on July 23rd, 2019.  Interior design was done by art director YOSHIROTTEN.  The venue has become a hot spot for social natives of the latest culture, hardcore listeners and creators with backgrounds in fashion/art that have been in the scene before the digital natives.

Kenji Takimi, KZA, and Chida, top class acts of Leftfield/Alternative House/Disco scene representing the underground, have been crossing various styles at MITSUKI.  This edition of AFTER PORK features a lineup that defines the great artistic sensibilities of MITSUKI.  DJ IZU, who entered his 30th year in June as a DJ and has experienced the heyday of New York; smokin’ barrels, who have served as the support act in Japan for DJ Harvey; MONKEY TIMERS, the organizers of the party/collective DISKO KLUBB which YAMARCHY is a member of; and YATT, the project of Disco party LINDA’s organizer TAKAKAHN and YOSHIROTTEN, will be crossing music and culture to create a Disco/Balearic atmosphere.  In addition, Enoshima Opp-la, a close affiliate of MITSUKI, will be setting up a hand-printed silkscreen shop.

To celebrate the return of midnight hours by the mastermind of Shibuya’s night scene will open new curtains again with music experts to provide the mood and a space where people can only meet here.
