dj masdaが世界展開するALIEN FAMILYがおよそ一年ぶりに開催
dj masdaの名は自身のレーベル〈Cabaret Recordings〉とともに世界的な信頼と認知を得ている。Panorama Bar、Fabric、Robert Johnson、Closer、Phonothequeといった高いネームバリューをもつクラブを含んだ、世界5大陸のどこかで毎週末のようにプレイを重ねてきた。モダンな切り口でみせる80年代からのテクノ、ハウス、エレクトロ、ブレイクビーツなど新旧を問わないセレクトは、優れたDJセットが機器の進化や技だけではない、感情や発展経過も含んだ複合的な情報で作られることを再認識させてくれる。そのオリジナリティとイマジネーションに富んだプレイは、ダンスミュージックの快楽要素が高密度で集約された、現実から遠く離れた夢心地を味わわせてくれる。dj masdaの理想パーティを具現化したのもがALIEN FAMILYであり、そのパーティへの賛同は世界中に広がり今や国内よりも海外での声望がより勢いを増している。さらに昨年5月のベルリン、11月のContact開催でも出演したyama’をメインフロアのサポートに迎えたことはALIEN FAMILY本来のクオリティが約束されたことを示している。
このパーティの形成はContactフロアとの連動も当然で、Bushmindのヒップホップやブリーピーなハウス、テクノなどのトリッピーなサウンドや、ファンクネスをミニマル、エレクトロ、ロウハウスに混ぜ込むWada Yosuke、腰の据わったスモーキーかつサイケデリックな快速を聞かせるSunga、SUNSET DRIVERオーガナイザーtropiといったラインナップは国内では主流とはなっていないモダンで幻覚的なフロアメイクを実現している。

dj masda’s globally expanding party ALIEN FAMILY returns for the first time in one year
The name dj masda, along with his label〈Cabaret Recordings〉, has gained worldwide trust and recognition playing at prestigious nightclubs such as Panorama Bar, Fabric, Robert Johnson, Closer, Phonotheque, and playing somewhere every weekend in one of the 5 continents of the world. His sets take on a modern approach with sounds ranging from Techno as early as from the 80’s, House, Electro, Breakbeats, and masterfully structures emotionally complex progressions through the art of DJing. His imagination and originality takes you far away from reality and into a dream-like state by bringing out the best in dance music. ALIEN FAMILY is the embodiment of dj masda’s ideal party, which has earned a solid reputation on a global scale. Supporting in the main room is yama’, who has played for the party held in May last year in Berlin and in November at Contact, promising quality essential for AIEN FAMILY.
Contact floor’s lineup, closely linked to this party, features Hip Hop and bleepy House music from Bushmind, trippy Techno to funky Minimal/Electro and Low House by Wada Yosuke, steady and smoky psychedelic sounds by Sunga. The organizer of SUNSET DRIVER, tropi, completes the lineup to create a modern yet out-of-this-world experience on the dance floor.
