ドラムンベース黎明期の当時と現在のシーンを繋ぐ最重要集団の集合体
rag & Taishiが発起人になり、1990年代に始まったドラムンベースを現代年版として再構築するパーティを開始。過去や現在に捉われない現場でのドラムンベースを中心に、Rave Racersとして活動しているGUCCIMAZEを加え、2022年のジャパニーズ・ドラムンベースを牽引する。90年代当時のレコードを巧みに使い、現在のビートを混ぜるミックススタイルのTaishiにunderslowjamsのラッパーであるragのフリースタイルなMCがさらにフロアを盛り上げ、Kaiは新感覚のオリジナルトラックを織り交ぜたプレイスタイルで駆け抜ける。また、GUCCIMAZEによる新たな世代の解釈した音楽性が交差する。
今回は2名のゲストが参戦。SOUND MUSEUM VISIONの第2土曜日のレギュラーパーティStereo WaveのレジデントDJであり、今の日本のクラブミュージックシーンのヒットメーカーKM。KMは昨年、Lil’ Leise But Gold & KM「Remind You」をリリースし、彼らしいドラムンベースの解釈をしかりと表現しており、今回のパーティでも聞いたことのないビートを紹介してくれるに違いない。またunderslowjamsから巧みなスクラッチでいつもライヴを盛り上げるDJ SOMAも登場。彼らの新曲「SOCTCH AND SODA」（Yellow Lemonade Remix）でも軽快なジャパニーズ・ドラムンベースとしてリリースし話題になっている。

A gathering of prominent figures connecting the dawn of the Drum & Bass era with the present scene
Curators rag & Taishi’s new party aiming to recreate the early days of Drum & Bass that started in the 1990’s. GUCCIMAZE, also known as Rave Racers focusing on old and new Drum & Bass, will be a leading figure in Japanese Drum & Bass of year 2022. Taishi, whose style uses records from the 90’s to skillfully mix with modern beats, will be joined by freestyle MC rag, a rapper of the group underslowjams, and Kai mixing in his own cutting-edge original tracks will be hyping up the dance floor. And, GUCCIMAZE’s interpretation of the new generation’s musicality intersects.
This edition welcomes 2 guests. KM is a hit maker of Japan’s club music scene who holds a residency at SOUND MUSEUM VISION’s regular party Stereo Wave held on every 2nd Saturday. He produced the track「Remind You」for Lil’ Leise But Gold, released last year which displayed his expressive style of Drum & Bass, and we can expect him to introduce us to some new beats for this party as well. From underslowjams, we have DJ SOMA to liven up the dance floor with his skilled scratching techniques. The group’s latest「SOCTCH AND SODA」（Yellow Lemonade Remix）is becoming a topic as the rhythmical and swinging Japanese drum & bass release.
