Broad 9th Anniversary

電子音楽で雑食路線を追求するBroadが9周年

2020年春に東京から九州・福岡へ拠点を移し、現在も熱量変わらず活動を続けるTatsuokiが主催するBroadも今年で9周年。ここ最近は現地でも定期的に開催しているBroadだが、祝祭を迎えるこの冬は2年ぶりにContactへの帰還が決定。今回は「このコロナ禍だからこそ東京のシーンで何が出来るのか？」「この先、5年10年後に繋げていくためには？」この2点をテーマとして構成された一夜限りと言っても過言ではないラインナップが実現。
StudioとContactは国内の各都市にアンテナを張り、各拠点で活躍するアーティストを集結。電子音楽という軸はしっかり保ちながら、テクノ、ブレイクビーツ、サイケデリック、エクスペリメンタル等、これまでも繰り広げられてきた雑食系スタイルで一晩の流れを形成するのは今回も健在。そしてFoyerにはこれからを担っていく新進気鋭のU23世代、Muralクルーがフロアをメイクする。Broadにとっても新たな繋がりを生み出すことになる特別な一夜を是非沢山の人たちに堪能して欲しい。

9th anniversary of Broad, pursuing the path of electronic music

Tatsuoki, the organizer of Broad which is entering its 9th year, moved his base to Fukuoka from Tokyo in the Spring of 2020 and continues to stay active. Broad, regularly hosting parties in its new base recently, returns to Contact for the first time in 2 years to celebrate its 9th anniversary. “What can we do for the Tokyo scene during the pandemic?” “What can we do to keep the path for 5, 10 years ahead?” These two points will be the theme for the night with a lineup well-suited for the occasion.
Studio and Contact gathers artists from various cities. While firmly keeping the roots of electronic music, they explore the different styles including techno/breakbeats/psychedelic/experimental throughout the course of the evening. In Foyer, navigated by Mural crew, they put the spotlight on the up-and-coming U23 generation. A special night for Broad and the people to make new connections.
