CONDUCTOR

世界各地で生まれる要注目の新鋭サウンド

今回も”これまであまり触れられてこなかった場所から生まれる新たな音の可能性を探す”というミッションのもと、CONDUCTORがContactで開催される。
新進気鋭のエキサイティングな才能を着々と世に送り出す場所としておなじみの国は多々あるものの、あらゆるものとつながることができるようになった現在では、それ以外の場所でも多くの重要な音楽が生まれていることが伝わるようになっている。CONDUCTORがフィーチャーするのは、普段から話題にあがる欧米のシーンとは異なる、中南米、アフリカ、南アジアといった場所から登場するアーティストだ。
第3回目の開催となる今回は、南アフリカ・リンポポ出身のDa CapoがStudio Xフロアを揺らす。長年、ディープハウスに対するアプローチに磨きをかけてきた彼は、同郷のダンスミュージックヒーローBlack Coffeeのサポートによって注目を集めている存在だ。Black Coffeeのレーベル”Soulistic Music”に参加したことで、彼独自のサウンドは世界の幅広いオーディエンスに届けられ、イビサにも招聘されるなど、多くの人の心を惹きつけている。
東京からは、ベテランハウサーのDazzle DrumsやMidori Aoyamaが参加。ContactフロアにはU:ICHIやDJ FGRらが登場する。

With the mission to bring new and exciting sounds from around the globe to explore its possibilities, Conductor hosts an evening at Contact.
For its 3rd edition, Conductor features Da Capo hailing from South Africa. His long affiliation with deep house has landed the rising star on Black Coffee’s label “Soulistic Music”. The distinct style, unique and original in its own right, has gained a world wide following. Playing alongside some of the best around the world, including Ibiza, he makes his Japan debut.
Supporting the headliner, Tokyo’s veterans Dazzle Drums and Midori Aoyama share the decks. U:ICHI and DJ FGR along with many other local acts will be navigating the Contact floor.
