COSMIC FACTORY SUNDAYSESSIONS

TETSUJI TANAKA and GENDER-K, who have produced a number of big parties bridging Tokyo – Okinawa, host their conceptual party COSMIC FACTORY at Contact!  They’ll create a lavish space by focusing on the quality side of Drum & Bass × Bass Music. 

For the headliner, we have an exclusive drum & bass set by Watusi, a figure who has released a single「Pussyfoot」from〈Sony Music〉as COLDFEET in 1998 and pumped out many club hits after his major debut with impressive visuals, productions based on drum & bass, breakbeats and house.  A must-see set by the man who experienced the golden era of drum & bass in the 90’s.  The lineup includes DX, the originator of Japan’s DNB scene, and VELOCITY, who releases from top labels such as UK’s prestigious LIQUID V, for the first time at Contact.  A DJ set by junglist DJ YAHMAN, a driving force in Japan’s jungle scene who organizes Tribal Connection, and a high quality live performance by NATURAL VYBZ, a 3 piece human beatbox band.  In addition, we have Jungle’s top acts A to C, a disc jockey of the new generation of Jump Up drum & bass, MC ZAI and D2, who have been active since the early years of the scene, and MIDI War, a prominent female MC, collaborating to bring you old & new drum & bass/jungle for Cosmic Factory Sunday Session!

Residents TETSUJI TANAKA, an iconic figure in Japan’s Drum & Bass scene, GENDER-K, DJ and co-host of COSMIC FACTORY who bridges Tokyo – Okinawa, and female Drum & Bass DJ Sarina Tokihara provide solid & cool music selections.  Foyer features a collaboration between LOWLIFE, the most dynamic and up-and-coming party crew, andA to C to bring you the forefront of Bass Music.  Experience the high-sense Sunday sessions where Past, Present & Future intersect.
