15周年を迎えるParties4PeaceがdBシリーズと共同開催！
2002年、日本で始まったParties4Peaceが今年で15周年パーティをContactで開催。音楽とダンスを通じて平等で平和的な環境を作り、率先して災害救助などにも関わる活動を続けてきた。ニューヨークに移転してからも活動を継続、ローカルのプロデューサー達や様々なレーベルと交流を持ち、新しいタレントを日本のダンスミュージックシーンに紹介するなど、エンターテインメントな側面でもその存在感を示してきた。
また、Studio Xでは今回5回目の開催を数え、ライブにフォーカスすることで音楽的な、多様な音楽に興味を持つ人々が独特な雰囲気を創るイベント、dBが日本人のみのラインアップで開催。
#01にも登場し、Contactに度々登場しているAOKI takamasaがDJセットを、そしてエクスペリメンタル、アンビエント、ビートミュージック、テクノなど一貫した世界観を貫きながらも、時間と共に変化していく一夜を通したストーリーを是非体感して欲しい。
Parties4Peace celebrates their 15 Year Anniversary at Contact Tokyo with the dB series!
Founded in 2002 in Japan, Parties4Peace seeks to unite people to create a culture of peace through dance and music, supporting initiatives focused on education, sustainability, equality and disaster relief. Since moving to New York City, Parties4Peace has collaborated with local producers and labels to bring new talent to the Tokyo dance scene.
In Studio X, dB focuses on live sets by domestic artists. AOKI takamasa, who has performed in the very first dB series, will be performing a DJ set. It’ll be a night full of experimental, ambient, techno-based beat music that will evolve throughout the evening.
