田中フミヤが1年振りの帰還
田中フミヤがベルリンから帰国、1年振りのContactへの登壇が決まった。2021年はベルリンに活動拠点を構えて10年、他アーティストと同様にパンデミックの影響を受け、2021年の初旬までのほとんどのギグを規制してきた。しかし、昨今のヨーロッパ諸国の規制の緩和に伴い、ポーランドの技術博物館WALCOWNIAや、ベルリンClub der Visionäre、RENATEやRitter Butzkeといった人気クラブ、Revier Südostでのオープンエアパーティ等、様々なベニューで欧州圏のファンの前に姿を見せる機会を増やしつつある。最新のオリジナル・リリースは、昨年10月、自身のレーベル〈Sundance〉からのEP「DANCE TONIGHT / IF SO REMEMBER EP」で、いずれのサイドでも厳選された音数で構築するサウンドの中にロマンチシズムや、オリジナリティに富んだファンクネスとの交差、ミニマルな空間への視点誘導の連続というようなFumiya Tanakaらしい秀逸なミニマル・ハウスが展開されている。今回、Studio Xのサポートに、Fumiya Tanakaのリリースで知られるミニマル・レーベル、〈TOREMA RECORDS〉、〈op.disc〉のマネージャーや、CHAOSのオーガナイズも務める、Taroを迎えるのもファンにとって信頼の人選といえる。思わず笑みが溢れるほどに特異でいて、感覚が一点に集められるような不思議な音楽体験は、Fumiya Tanakaが世界でも屈指のマエストロとして位置付けられる所以かもしれない。オーディエンスのテンションとともに組織される巨大な空間芸術は、テクノ・ファンが忘れているあの感覚をまたContactにもたらしてくれるに違いない。
Contactフロアのラインナップには著名アーティスト来日の際のサポートにも頻繁に登場するRyosukeや、新興ミニマル・パーティSTREET SMARTのオーガナイズに携わるAtsuki、東京の早耳のエレクトロニック・ファンに厚い信頼を置くREMEDYオーガナイザーk_yamや、scrabといった熟練した技術と先鋭のイマジネーションが交わる、隙のないフロアメイクが実現した。

Fumiya Tanaka returns for the first time in a year
Fumiya Tanaka returns from Berlin and takes the stage at Contact for the first time in 1 year. 2021 marks the 10th year since Fumiya moved his base to Berlin. Under strict regulations due to the pandemic, he and many other artists have been affected up until the beginning of 2021. However, with the recent relaxation of regulations in European countries have given him opportunities to perform in front of fans at various venues in Europe including places like WALCOWNIA, the technology museum in Katowice, Poland, Berlin’s Club der Visionäre, popular clubs like RENATE and Ritter Butzke, and the open-air party at Revier Südost. The latest original release「DANCE TONIGHT / IF SO REMBER EP」, released in October of last year from his own label〈Sundance〉, is a work that’s been carefully constructed. Within the funky sounds filled with originality, there are characteristics of romanticism, guiding you into a minimal atmoshpere. A Minimal House masterpiece by Fumiya Tanaka that stays true to his colors. Supporting act in Studio X is Taro, known for his part in the Minimal label〈TOREMA RECORDS〉which releases Fumiya Tanaka’s works, manager for〈op.disc〉, and organizer of CHAOS. The mysterious musical experience that gathers the senses into one focal point is so unique that it puts smiles on all the faces. And this may be the reason why Fumiya Tanaka is considered a maestro around the world. The art of creating a huge atmosphere with the tension of the audience, a feeling that may be forgotten by Techno fans, will be brought back to life at Contact once again.
