An obscured space that intersects in a high dimension

After the second postponement since January, Galaxy returns with its 3rd installment at Contact. The 1st installment gave us a look into the high level organic sounds of House/Techno by Kaoru Inoue and Galaxy crew member Tasoko. The second edition featured a Balearic set by Toshiyuki Goto that was a cosmic fusion of hot music and funkness. The superb parties organized by IORI resonated deeply with rich musicality.
This installment features Kuniyuki, Asusu, Yoshitaka Shirakura, and IORI. The four, with strong roots, have the ability to lure you into the music with their thoroughness and sensibilities.
Kuniyuki is widely known for his affiliations with House heroes Joe Claussell and Dego, deepening his improvisational skills and Jazz while keeping his own roots in Body Music and New Wave has become the key element Kuniyuki’s current music which brings forth a sense of spirituality. Influenced by music from his motherland, such as UK Garage, Jungle, and Bass Music, the Bristol-born Asusu continues to explore the possibilities beyond Techno/Ambient and Electronic music. His thrilling yet stimulating DJ sets combine powerful drums and technology with precision that creates an interesting flow of time. Also joining the lineup is Yoshitaka Shirakura who has been gaining a lot of support from Techno fans. While his taste ranges from Noise and Avant-Garde music, his Techno sets that come from such cross-pollination has depth and a cult-like romanticism. The dots, lines, and surfaces connected by the four DJs creates a high level three-dimensional space through their musical exchange ranging from House to Jazz, Techno, Avante-Garde, and Bass Music.
Contact floor will be produced by No Nation crew fusing richly colored music, design, fashion, and art. The Tokyo-based crew comprised of Tonydot, shajka jo, Atsuya Nagata, Leo Gabriel, Mizuki, and 機他 will be presenting their own unique interpretation of House and Jazz while keeping their focus on Disco. We’ll surely be able to experience the musical evolution with a certain direction that will be quite different from the main floor.
The energy-rich product of the modern isolated environment turns into an obscure Galaxy.
