TREKKIE TRAX invites House genius Chrissy in conjunction with Carpainter's release party

TREKKIE TRAX label showcase, the final one at Contact, with guest Chrissy from San Francisco.  Marking their 10th year, TREKKIE TRAX brings out their label color using all 3 floors with energetic bass music/techno and vivid house music with 1 month left to go until Contact’s closing.  This night will also be the release party of the EP「Plastic Dancer」by Carpainter from the label.  The tracks in the new EP directly hits with the expected vibe of the dance floor on this day.
“One of the most versatile and knowledgeable DJ/producers on the planet” – Jerome Hill. “Chrissy is one of the best DJs to ever walk the earth and I am just going to keep saying it until everyone agrees with me.” – The Blessed Madonna.  Chrissy, a veteran with a career of over 20 years specializing in Chicago House and Disco influenced by the rave scene whose sound reaches as far as Jungle and Footwork, has been praised by many DJs.  The blissful and technical DJ who has held residencies at San Francisco’s long-running queer club The Stud and Chicago’s best club smartbar, will be joined by DJ TASAKA, DSKE, Guchon, and Carpainter, who will be playing 2 sets as a release special, providing psychedelic disco that stays true to the underground.
In the Contact floor, where the color of the label is even more pronounced, Seimei and andrew of TREKKIE TRAX will be leading the pack.  Seimei has released a techno album from〈WET TRAX〉, a label based in Canada, and both have contributed mixes for Rinse FM〈Hessle Audio〉through Ben UFO and Gilles Peterson’s monthly program Worldwide FM, firmly establishing themselves on a global scale.  Juke/Footwork producer Oyubi, who’s appeared in the previously mentioned program on Rinse FM, and なかむらみなみ (Minami Nakamura), whose tracks have been followed by many top-class artists, have been confirmed for the lineup.  In addition, the exceptional okadada, FELINE, and K8 of TYO GQOM will be joining the TREKKIE TRAX’s battlefield of pulsating bass and high-energy beats.
Foyer floor will be curated by DUUSRAA, a bar & sound space located in Shinjuku that’s the base for TREKKIE TRAX crew.  1TA, a member of BS0 crew that specializes in the sound and culture of Bristol, the great Dx, maidable, a regular at BS0, up-and-coming talent hxxxi, and blackglassG from the label NC4K completes the lineup for a world of dub, steppers, grime and breakbeats.  And, of course, some pick-me-up food for the clubbers will be provided by DUUSRAA.
