Explorative techno and immersive house music all night long

Ed Davenport has been on a journey into the broader possibilities of techno since launching his Inland alias in 2013. Prior to that he had an accomplished career in house music, but his work as Inland has taken him to some exciting places. His Counterchange label has hosted a wealth of leftfield talent like Bnjmn and Nubian Mindz, while his own production output has graced labels like Vidab, Nonplus, Out-Er and Figure. A major high point came with An Invitation To Disappear, a collaborative album with Julian Charriere that came out on A-TON.

Now Davenport is preparing to release Stream State, an expansive compilation on Counterchange featuring artists such as Efdemin, Peter Van Hoesen, Sophia Saze and Johanna Knutsson. Another of the guests on Stream State is DJ Sodeyama, a local to Contact who will be joining Davenport on the Studio X Floor to help launch the compilation. Between them, the accomplished artists will traverse a broad landscape of techno from the mellow and melancholic to driving, intricate rhythmic interplay. Alongside them is SO, one of the Labyrinth’s residents who’ll add another fuel to a night of mindful dancefloor immersion.

Meanwhile the Contact Floor will welcome DJ Dustin, midway through an Asian tour and sharing his superlative approach to deep, atmospheric house music. Mamazu will be offering a highly trance-inducing hypnotic set that provides another thrilling moments.
