Uncharted paradise depicted by alternative sounds

Many fans can expect a rich musical space Chee Shimizu and Torei can create through their chemical reactions of the common grounds that the both share.  The universe of the world famous selector/label owner Chee Shimizu spans from Jazz, Experimental Disco, Cosmic, Leftfield, World Music to German Techno, covering the full spectrum that cannot be categorized as a specific genre.  He has traveled through the ocean of music, which is proven by the tracks he selects, all of which are metaphysically euphoric with outstanding brilliance, and seamlessly brings it all together in his DJ sets that blooms with pungent fragrances.  Torei’s take on Electro/House, and at times Slow Trance, comes from his Reggae/Dub background that can be heard on his label〈Set Fire To Me〉that launched in February of this year.  His fusion of Electronics and World Music is fresh, trippy, and in a class of its own.  The two build around the core of music that is not bound to a specific genre, an ideology that both share,  will be a deep musical experience you wouldn’t normally get at regular club night.

Contact floor for this edition of mano a mano is also worth a great deal of attention.  Tadashi Yabe, taking in music from around the world and creating his own funkness and coolness as UFO, is one of the top artists who pursued music in a different direction in contrast to the two artists in the main floor.  Vinyl Youth, a crew that has a deep affection for the sound of records, makes their first appearance with their cosmic and Balearic sounds.  The Deep Disco unit kon & y. brings a taste of psychedelia through their musical exchange.  Completing the lineup is Akie, newtone records’ staff.  Foyer floor, the lounge space for the evening, features DJ Emerald and Naotsun.
