Resom and Diskonnected hit the real electronic music

MNML SSGS returns to Contact for its first party in almost a year. Headlining in the Studio is Resom from Berlin, who will be returning to Tokyo for the third time. Honest, direct and passionate about music, her approach fits perfectly with MNML SSGS and her sound matches well with Japan. Joining her will be Diskonnected, a key part of the Smoke Machine crew in Taipei. In recent years, Diskonnected’s approach to DJing has developed and matured, his recent sets have an excellent balance: strong and supple, without ever getting too heavy. Rounding out the mainroom will be DJ So, a smooth DJ and tight mixer who has really been hitting form in the last few years. We are excited to have Nagisa do the lighting for the Studio, with the floor being setup differently to create a more intimate vibe.

In the Contact room, we are very happy to have Chee Shimizu playing for us for the first time. Known for the breadth and depth of his musical knowledge, he runs the Organic Music record store and is playing an important role sharing music through the Japanism and 17853 labels he manages. Joining him will be two local electro live acts: AE35 and Fleck E.S.C. Given our love for electro music, we are very excited to hear them both play. Supporting them will be DJ sets from David Dicembre, Arisa Shirota, and the party organiser Chris SSG.

As always, a MNML SSGS party means serious fun. Proper music and good vibes, it is worth coming out for.
