Devilishly deviant dancefloor sounds from the outer limits

Mozhgan established herself as a prominent party starter in San Francisco’s underground with the We Are Monsters nights. Alongside Solar and others, she sought to bring a different sound to the city besides the dominant house music that pumped out of most clubs. Mozhgan and her cohorts delved into the world of minimal wave, industrial and other such subversive sounds still suitable for the dancefloor. We Are Monsters has grown to become one of SF’s best loved parties, and Mozhgan herself has become recognised internationally as an immensely talented DJ. Having closed the 2018 edition of Rural Festival in a beautiful b2b set with Solar, she returns to Japan to take command of the Studio X Floor for a joyfully unpredictable thrill ride.
Alongside Mozhgan, this night will also feature Tokyo house music institution Chida. Since the 90s Chida has played alongside the likes of Prins Thomas, Man Power and Lord Of The Isles. While operating his own Ene records label, the Japanese DJ has played a key role as a vital and productive force in the scene, and with such experience comes the knowledge and flair to bring a memorable energy to the decks – the perfect complement to Mozhgan’s adventures into the underground.
