2021-2022のカウントダウンは、日本のアンダーグラウンドカルチャーを牽引するアクトたちとMOTORPOOLをフィーチャー。混乱の2021年を締めくくり新しい年を歓びで迎える。
Studio Xには、新プロジェクトFINALBY( ) を仕掛けるBOREDOMSの∈Y∋(山塚アイ)が、ライヴセットで年越しのContactに登場する。FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL 2021で披露されたFINALBY( )の超絶的なパフォーマンスは、会場はもちろん、配信を見ていた音楽ファンの度肝を抜く大きなトピックのひとつとなった。さらに、夏に発売されたアルバム「YASURAGI LAND」でエレクトロニカル万華鏡による圧倒的な美を披露した食品まつり a.k.a foodmanがあっこゴリラと共演。MCなかむらみなみもライヴでの参戦が決まった。DJ陣も2021年のキーパーソンが集い才能を開花させる。これまでにも卓越したエレクトロニクスや突然変異的な優れた音楽感で、Contactを極上の空間に演出してきた、感動と意外性に富んだ刺激溢れるラインナップと、クィアパーティMOTORPOOLとの絶妙なドッキングの準備が整った。
久々の開催となるMOTORPOOLをフィーチャーしたContact / Foyerフロアには、オルタナティヴ・ミュージックの真のパイオニアKenji Takimiが登壇する他、レジデントのDSKE、MAYUDEPTH、ゆかりのアーティストを中心とした強力なラインナップでダンスミュージックの多様性を表現する。至極のトラックと共にお馴染みのQUEENやBOYSが新年を華やかに染め上げ、唯一無二の空間を演出する。
特別な年となった2021年、どんな価値観を持つ人でも、自分自身に素直でいられる居場所を見つけることができる、今年のContactのカウントダウンに身を任せて2022年に歩を進めてはいかがだろう。

Welcome a spectacular new year with exciting culture and diverse acts

2021-2022 countdown welcomes acts that lead the underground culture of Japan featuring MOTORPOOL as we end the year 2021 and greet the new year with joy.
In Studio X, ∈Y∋ (Ai Yamatsuka) from BOREDOMS and his new-found project FINALBY( ), will be gracing us with a countdown live set at Contact. The transcendent performance by FINALBY( ) at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL 2021 was one of the biggest topics for music fans who watched the live stream, not to mention the fans at the venue. In addition, we have Shokuhin-matsuri a.k.a foodman, who released the album「YASURAGI LAND」this summer, a kaleidoscope of electronics with overwhelming beauty, will be performing with AKKOGORILLA. Female MC Nakamura Minami will also be performing live. Key figures of 2021 will be DJing, bringing forth their talents. MOTORPOOL, the queer party that’s teaming up for this occasion, has created great atmospheres at Contact with their great sensibilities in music and in their unpredictable ways featuring line-ups full of excitement and surprises.
Featuring MOTORPOOL for the first time in a while, Contact/Foyer floors invites Kenji Takimi, the pioneer of alternative music, and artists with close relations to express the diversity of dance music. The familiar QUEENS and BOYSwill be adding more color, along with great tracks, to create a unique space.
2021turned out to be a distinct year. The countdown at Contact this year will be a place where people with different values can truly be honest with themselves. Let yourself go and take the step into 2022 with us.
