Boys Next Doorの最重要人物が待望の初来日
イギリス・ロンドンを拠点とし、ファンク/ソウルをベースにニューハウスミュージックなる新しいジャンルを提唱しているキュレーションチームBoys Next Door。先日の初来日公演が大きな話題となったイギリス出身のソングライター/音楽プロデューサーのPastelや、Annie Macが激プッシュするノーサンプトン出身のデュオJust Kiddin、The WeekendやThe Magicianがフィーチャーしたことで一躍有名となったFabichなどの面々が名前を連ねている。
今回、第5回目となるOTHERTHEQue! × DODGY DEALS CLUBのスペシャルゲストとして、Boys Next Doorクルー内の最重要人物といっても過言ではない、オーストラリア出身の音楽プロデューサーJafunkが初来日にてDJプレイを披露する。サポートアクトには、90年代よりドイツのクラブミュージックシーンを牽引する〈KOMPAKT〉からScharreが登場。今後更に加速するであろうニューハウスミュージックと名門ドイツのハイクオリティなテクノサウンドを是非この機会に確かめてみて欲しい。
Japan debut of the important figure behind Boys Next Door crew
Boys Next Door is a curation team based in London focusing on nu-house music with funk/soul roots. They feature some of the most promising artists Pastel, Just Kiddin, Fabich who has been featured on tracks by The Weekend and The Magician.
The fifth edition of OTHERTHEQue! × DODGY DEALS CLUB invites Jafunk from Boys Next Door crew for his first appearance in Japan. Scharre from〈KOMPAKT〉, a German label that has been in the forefront since the ’90s, will be supporting the act. This will be a chance to experience the rising nu-house music and the quality techno sounds of Germany.
