ブラックミュージックをメインにクロスオーバーなスタイルを提案する、Contact最長のレギュラー・ヒップホップ・パーティSuper Plume。
DJ Yasは、師であるDJ KrushをはじめDJ Kensei、Hazu、DJ Hideをオリジナルメンバーに据えるDJ集団、現在はレーベルとしても稼働するKemuri Productionsの主宰や、TWIGY、RINO LATINA II、YOU THE ROCK★らを擁する雷家族のブレインとしても知られ、日本のアンダーグラウンドヒップホップの最高峰として君臨している。コアなヒップホップファン御用達Bitterbeat Recordsを運営するBLACKMOODや、大阪のヒップホップ・パーティPROPSを主宰A-KILLER、さらに、キュレーションを務めるDJ TOYODAの音と精神的な柱も、パーティの信頼を更に厚いものにしている。昨年末からは、中目黒の黒い集団90BPM TakeoverからWZAがジョイント。DJ Tokiの現場での全曲ブレンドミックスというオリジナルシーンとリンクする日本唯一のスタイルは、このパーティの不可欠なオリジナリティだ。O-noとJasmine、実力派二人によるダンスクルーMnchr-mや、リアリティとスピリットに溢れるラッパーMAAF、ギタリストARATA、DJ TOYODAから成る$peak Slowのライヴによる直接的なアプローチもパーティに立体的な広がりをもたらしている。
今回の配信は、奇数月第3水曜に開催されるSuper Plumeの1月開催の様子をパッケージしており、この日も、5人の猛者がこぞって、ブルーなファンクネスと歪んだドープネスを鳴らす。ドリンクをお供に渋谷最奥のヒップホップパーティの深みを堪能してみてはいかがだろう。

Contact's longest-running Hip Hop crossover party goes live on GH Streaming
Super Plume, Contact’s longest-running regular Hip Hop party, focuses on black music with a crossover style.
DJ YAS is the mastermind behind the notorious DJ group Kemuri Productions (original member and master DJ Krush, DJ Kensei, Hazu, and DJ Hide), which now also runs as a record label. He’s also known as the brain of KAMINARI-KAZOKU along with TWIGY, RINO LATINA II, YOU THE ROCK★, and reigns as the leading figure in underground Hip Hop of Japan. BLACKMOOD, who runs Bitterbeat Records that has a following of core hip hop fans, A-KILLER, the organizer of the Osaka-based party PROPS, and curator DJ TOYODA’s spirit and sounds play important roles in enriching the party. Since the end of last year, WZA from 90BPM Takeover of Nakameguro has joined the party. DJ Toki, whose style is the only one in Japan that blend mixes all tracks on-site, is essential originality of this party. Dance crew Mnchr-m (O-no & Jasmine), rapper MAAF, guitarist ARATA, and a live set by $peak Slow, comprised of DJ TOYODA, adds a different dimension.
