素直と異形が織りなす音楽の沼
ワンアンドオンリーなアーティストをレジデントとし、その独自のカラーを軸に様々なアーティストが集まり三部作でお送りするシリーズイベントTrilogies。今回はTokyo Community Radio主宰で、DJ/ビートメイカー/ラジオパーソナリティと多岐にわたる活動で若き世代を牽引するLicaxxxが登場。真摯に寄り添い、培ってきた様々な音楽を融合させ、各回を盛り上げる。
重厚なベースやシンプルなアレンジメントなど、UKで発生したベース革命の第一波であり、ダンス・ミュージックの基本構造に歴史的な変革をもたらしたとも言えるブリープは、この日のStudio Xにおける重要なキーワードとなるであろう。ロンドンアンダーグラウンドレーベル〈GOING GOOD〉からのデビュー作以降、縛りなくオブスキュアなスタイルを貫き続け、カルト的人気を集めるYoshinori Hayashiが出演する。また、リバイバル要素から最新鋭までを合わせながらUKミュージックに情熱を注ぐHouse Not Houseのキーマン、Frankie $も登場。2010年代UKシーン代表格であるRandomerの来日公演ではLicaxxxと共にサポートするなど、日本とUKを繋ぐ重要な存在だ。ブリープ/レイヴ/ブレイクビーツの影響下にある現行シーンにおいて、間違いないアーティストが集う一夜となるであろう。
Contactフロアでは膨大な音楽知識とジャンル区分不可能なセットで意識を深く引き込むゾーンが発生する。言わずもがな悪魔の沼メンバーであるDr. Nishimuraは、異形のサイケデリック・ミュージックを提示する。過去にMadegg名義でLicaxxxと共にパーティMALを主催し、現在はサウンドアートを軸に様々な形でアーティスト活動を行うKomatsu Kazumichi、EclipseやExtreme House Terrorなどアグレッシブなパーティを遂行してきたCelter、LYL Radioにてレジデントを務めレフトフィールドな音楽を展開するSobrietyが出演する。まさに底なし沼なフロアが形成される。

Trilogies, a 3 episode series invites one-and-only type of artists as a resident, bringing out their distinct colors and sharing the stage with various artists. For this installment, we invite Licaxxx, founder of Tokyo Community Radio, DJ/Beatmaker/radio personality, a leading figure of the young generation with diversity. We fuse all the various types of music we have fostered over the years to stir up each episode. For those who purchase advance tickets will get a Licaxxx sticker (first come, first served)!
UK’s Bleep music, heavy bass and simple arrangements, seeing its first wave in Japan, is revolutionizing the fundamental structures of dance music and its history. Bleep will be the important keyword on this day in Studio X. Since Debuting from London’s underground label〈GOING GOOD〉, Yoshinori Hayashi has maintained his unconstrained obscure style with a cult-like following, and will be appearing for this installment. In addition, Frankie $, the key person of House Not House and UK music enthusiast who mixes the latest tracks with old-school gems that are seeing a revival, joins the lineup. In the 2010’s, he played a supporting role alongside Licaxxx when the leading figure of UK’s scene Randomer performed in Japan. His existence is one that is important which connects Japan to the UK. A gathering of unparalleled artists influenced by Bleep/Rave/Breakbeats.
Contact floor features the weird psychedelic music by Dr. Nishimura, a member of 悪魔の沼 (Akuma no Numa) -Devil’s Swamp-, creating a zone that deeply draws in consciousness with his vast knowledge in music, making it impossible to be classified by genres. Komatsu Kazumichi, a sound artist who has previously teamed up with Licaxxx to produce the party MAL under the alias Madegg; Celter, the organizer of aggressive-styled parties like Eclipse and Extreme House Terror; Sobriety, a resident of LYL Radio exploring Leftfield music adds to the lineup. The dance floor turns into a bottomless swamp.
